Dumb Friends League
Throughout the metro Denver community, the Dumb Friends League is a familiar name. Their state-of-the-art shelter provides the architecture and infrastructure to exponentially increase their collective impact on animal care, treatment and well-being for years to come. Additionally, the Colorado Humane Society (CHS), a program of the League, works to prevent and investigate cases of animal neglect and mistreatment and promote animal welfare throughout Colorado.

Freedom Service Dogs of America
Freedom Service Dogs of America is a Denver-based nonprofit organization that unleashes the potential of dogs by transforming them into custom-trained, life-changing assistance dogs for people in need. When FSD launched its new Puppy-Raising Club, they did so with the confidence that a dedicated volunteer named Cathy Kennedy (pictured above) would be lending her 20-plus years of puppy-raising experience to the pilot program.
