Monarch Construction and Roofing - Stucco

Monarch delivered in every way. Tim Flores, from Monarch, knocked on my door with several other roofing companies. But he went over my home in extreme detail and documented the hail damage with multiple photos. I got quotes from several roofing companies, and Tim was the only one who said I could get gutters and windows replaced. I was so thankful that I gave the contract to Monarch and believed his promises. Monarch delivered everything Tim promised and more! I had an exceptionally difficult claims agent with my insurance company. The insurance agent would not communicate with me and refused to give me an accounting of their payouts and tried to close the account before they had paid me in full. Thanks to Luann's persistence, patience, and expertise, I just received the final $1,975 from my claim! I was pleased with Monarch's window subcontractors, with their gutter subcontractor, and the entire Monarch team. The only thing slow about the entire process with my own insurance claim agent. I love the quality of my new windows!

When the hailstorm hit in May 2017, I had Monarch construction and roofing come out and put on a new roof, on a home that was less than two years old. The hailstorm did more than just damage my roof. It damaged my siding, stucco, screens, window, pergola, fence, paint, and gutters. They worked completely with my insurance company from beginning to end. They noticed things damaged on my house I didn’t even see. I didn’t need to do anything but talk with my project manager. They completed ALL the work and to MY expectations. Because of the great job they did on all the outside work, recently, I have also hired the painters to paint my interior. They were very professional and nice. They painted my VERY tall hallway/dining room walls, bedrooms, living room and kitchen. I was very comfortable, in all instances, while Monarch was doing work on my newer built home. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks. Roofing companies come and go. This is a company that is established and has a great warranty behind it.

We had some hail damage around our house - minimal roof damage, stucco damage, fence, and deck, and needed a new coat of paint. Chris and Luan were both incredible! To start, our insurance hadn’t included everything, so they worked very closely with insurance to get the right adjustments. This was huge as our insurance company had us working with 5 different people and we weren’t getting where we needed alone. After the insurance was done, Chris worked with us to get everything completed in our time frame. There were a few minor issues during the project and Chris was swift to address and fix them and make everything right. Greg did most of the work around our house - he was always polite and professional. We will definitely be using Monarch for future projects and highly recommend them!

I have done business with Monarch 3-4 times since 2006. Once for a hail inspection that resulted in a small claim and two more times from large hailstorms, at two different residences, where an entire roof replacement amongst other things were required. They have always taken care of my needs. I got to know their company after our first major hailstorm, and I was bombarded by roofing contractors. Out of all the vendors I spoke with I went with Monarch. They went to bat for me and my family with the insurance company for replacement of damaged items, many of which I wouldn’t have even figured on my own and took good care of us throughout out the entire process. So much so that I called them again after the last hailstorm and again they replaced the roof at our newer residence as well as painted the entire house. They are a one stop shop. I know and have interacted many times with John, the owner of Monarch, and he has always been available, fair, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The other employees I have dealt with at Monarch have been nothing but helpful and great to deal with. I highly recommend them!

We hired Monarch after our home was impacted by the Marshall Fire. We were blessed to have Christopher Ball as our Specialist. He took control, holding our hands through the claim process. He personally climbed ladders boarding up Windows, helped us move to temporary housing, Worked directly with the insurance provider and multiple trade professionals. Christopher and his team were able to get full restoration approval from our insurance with no push back. The restoration was efficient and of great quality. Last night we laid our heads at home for the first time in months. We are so grateful I and highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about Monarch construction. They were recommended to me by a friend who has used them several times and has always been happy. I recently hired them to repair some siding, stucco, and paint both the exterior and some interior parts of my home. I have had excellent experiences with Chris Ball from Monarch Construction & Roofing since 2017, when he first estimated a stucco job for me, for my work. Since then, he has managed several other estimates and completed jobs ranging from total re-stucco, roof repair, interior drywall repair and painting for my work. Most recently, he did a superb job managing our complex insurance claim for a complete roof replacement and re-stucco after a massive hailstorm. We also hired Monarch to raise and reset a paver patio and paint an extensive wrought iron rail at the same time. Each job has been handled with the perfect mix of kindness and professionalism. Chris always stays on board and checks in with the crews regularly. The work is done expediently and the job site is kept clean and safe. The crews have been excellent, as well as friendly and helpful. I have been exceptionally pleased whenever working with Chris Ball and Monarch Construction and highly recommend them.

We had Monarch Construction & Roofing remove and replace the shingles on our mountain home. They were easy to work with and got it done in only one day just a few days after initial contact. The area was tarped before the work began and it was clean when they left. Even the inspector said it was a very good job! We would highly recommend them.

My business needed new gutters but, let’s be honest, who really wants to need new gutters? Jarred DePalo with Monarch made it super easy so all the drudgery was off my hands. He took care of all the details, kept in touch with me through the process, and required next to nothing from me except a check after walking through the completed job with together. Great company and rep (Chris) to work with. Great service every step of the process, including working with insurance and HOA. All the workers were courteous, friendly and seemed to like their jobs. Which means a lot!

Monarch did a great job on the re-stucco and painting of my house. Miguel and team did a great job completing the project so quickly considering the early winter storms and what they uncovered as they removed some of the original stucco.

Unfortunately, whoever completed the original stucco job on our four-year home did a very poor job. The entire south side of our home was covered with eggshell-like cracks! We obtained several bids from stucco contractors and selected Monarch's Construction & Roofing due to their expertise, our background checks on their past stucco work and also their competitive bid. We could not be happier with the work they did on our home! During the past 50 years of home ownership and experience in working with other contractors, Monarch is the best company with whom we have worked. It was our experience that Monarch's employees were extremely competent, well organized and completed the project (resurfacing the entire south side of our home) perfectly. We received a great warranty on the work they completed, and when they left the job site the area in which they worked was so clean that one would have never known that major stucco work had just been completed. From our personal perspectives, and experiences with previous contractors, we could not recommend Monarch Construction & Roofing more highly in relation to the stucco work they did for us!

Was very impressed with the speed in which they were able to complete my roof. We added a cover to our patio and they timed everything perfectly with my crew doing the construction.
They also had good attention to detail. They were supposed to use my original downspouts, but noticed a couple of dents in the ones out front. They replaced the downspouts with brand new at no additional cost to me. When I asked why, they just said they wanted to make sure it looked nice! Great job with cleaning up after the job was done too. Thanks guys. Will call you when we get ready for the stucco!

Don't let Devon's age fool you--he is young, but knows what he's doing, and very professional! I love that Monarch is a local business that's been around long enough to prove they have staying power and integrity. They bend over backwards to make their customers happy.

After the last big hail storm an army of roofing contractors came through and I spoke to a number of them. Monarch was professional and were not pushy like so many of the others. I felt like they shot straight and told it like it was. They met with the adjuster and pointed out many things that he didn’t see. Work was done very quickly and I had no issues with the inspections. They were very courteous and cleaned up the mess that comes with changing a roof. Having 3 younger kids I scoured the yard looking for nails and did not find one. I've waited a few months to write a review as I wanted to make sure no issues surfaced. I'm happy to say they haven't. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with their work and would recommend them.

We were one of many hit by the big hail storm in May. It was great to find a company that could not only fix our roof, but also handle the many other repairs to our home, such as window replacement. From start to finish, this company did a great job! It was painless on my end, the job was done well, and the cleanup was performed properly. I have a little 3 year old boy, so running around without shoes is a daily occurrence. I went around after their crew was finished to look for nails, and only found two which were very close to the house and not a threat. All nails in the rocks, grass, and concrete were cleaned up! Chris Ball and his team, specifically Miguel, provided me with an outstanding level of service this past fall. I originally contracted Monarch to do some flashing, minor stucco repairs, paint and hang gutters at my house however, as the project got underway and we peeled back the "layers of onion," we discovered a much larger issue w/ my 115 year old house. Much of the OSB behind the stucco was rotten and needed to be replaced. Chris and Miguel worked me into the schedule to get the work done before winter hit and they were fair and reasonable with their pricing. I should also note that Miguel did an excellent job of helping me keep things in perspective - As a first time home owner, this experience was overwhelming. Miguel would tell me daily, "If they can build it, we can fix it." I would absolutely hire Monarch again and would recommend them to anyone needing to have work done.
