We recently had Hytek replace our whole home fan after the motor went out on our old one. From start to finish, they were exceptional. Scheduling was seamless, and their pricing was very reasonable. They even recommended a fantastic handyman who offered a more than fair price for the Sheetrock repair needed because the new whole home fan required a smaller space. The team at Hytek Air Systems was professional, timely, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I can't recommend them enough for their outstanding service. Five stars all the way!

Dan the technician is very honest, knowledgeable and reliable. The whole team is so professional. I got a quote for thousands of dollars from another company to repair or replace my current AC unit, which turned out was working fine and just needed to be cleaned and get a fuse replaced. They cleaned the system, topped off the freon and made some recommendations regarding changing the type of filters we were using.   • Voytek , and his crew have been keeping my system running for a year and a half now when I moved in I was left with a huge surprise! A broken h Al system it was replaced by another company but Voytek also came out and did other work as I had a huge pipe burst in the kitchen/dining room so they put in an air system used for hospitals as mold and mildew were found as an issue in less than 6 months time id basically rebuilt the place they have been life savers come help me make certain that all is running correctly and I am grateful for them!   • Our furnace started making a weird rattling and metal scraping noise out of the blue yesterday. After looking up the issue, I realized that Youtube was not going to help me. I turned off the furnace and jumped on Yelp to find some help (we are newer-ish to Denver so we didn't have a trusted company yet. NOW we do! Woot!) I reached out to 5 companies and Hytek was not only the most prompt but had the most detailed response. They were also the only company that did not charge a penny to diagnose the issue. They were able to send someone yesterday afternoon. However, we already had plans we could not move and opted for an afternoon appointment today. We were a little concerned about carbon monoxide poisoning in the meantime. We asked Jessica (who set up our appointment) if there should be any cause for concern. She contacted the service tech who assured her and us that we had nothing to worry about. Voytek and his son arrived an hour earlier than our appointment time. (Usually something I'm not happy about -- if you see my review history. But in this case, we were so very grateful they arrived early. We were starting to freeze!) They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Voytek diagnosed the issue quickly and gave us some quotes. We have a very old furnace and he was concerned that he would not be able to find a replacement part. He quoted what we would have to pay for a new furnace, but assured us that he would keep looking to see if anyone had the part we needed to fix our old one. Within 30 minutes, we received a phone call. By some miracle, a shop in the springs had the part. As he said they "searched in the back storage room and dusted off all the cobwebs, but it works!" He returned a few hours later and installed it. We are now warm and cozy again! Way sooner than we expected to be too! We highly recommend their services and will be giving out their number to all our friends!

Dan the technician sent a text when he was on the way and arrived within the agreed upon time window.   • Our water heater was 15 years old and I want to replace it, the owner came and gave me quote, he was very knowledgeable and gave me few options.
    I went with the power vent option. The crew came on time and did a wonderful job, also clean up nicely. The owner came to check the finished work. I have gotten few quotes, theirs not the cheapest but I like the way he explain things and the whole installation went well. I have hired them again for other jobs.

  • I started working with Hytek in 2021 when my thermostat kept providing error messages. What stood out then and why I continue to hire Hytek since is their honesty, expertise, professionalism, willingness to teach/show you what's happening and understands when there are issues it impacts your home and daily life (i.e. need a warm home). Recently (this week), they demonstrated these qualities again. My thermostat kept providing error messages. The HVAC system was working as expected on manual inspection. Turns out the Honeywell "motherboard" that controlled HVAC, sensors in the home and etc., went bad. Dan and Hytek educated me and provided me options to proceed. Based on my decision, they updated the wiring in my home so I could transition from using a programmable to a smart thermostat. I'm extremely grateful and will continue to use them! Thank you Hytek team!!!!

  • I live in an apartment with completely incompetent maintenance. I put in a request that my AC isn't working (multiple times) and they tell me "it's working fine" and my solution is "to get blackout curtains." Bet.So I decide to take matters into my own hands and ask Hytek to give me a professional diagnosis. Voytek arrives and he immediately tells me something is wrong. He was even gracious enough to come to the leasing office to confront the manager with me, stating what needed to be done in order to fix the AC unit. Apparently it hadn't been maintained in at LEAST five years (yikes!) and there was extreme build up in the outdoor unit, preventing it from cooling down my apartment.
    I'm saving up for a house (once the market is better) and I will ONLY work with Hytek from now on. Voytek is very friendly and gives it to me straight. I can't thank them enough. Thank you so much for your help! I am forever indebted to you.

  • Last Thursday evening I realized that my furnace was not turning on. I usually can hear it cycling off and on. I checked the furnace, and it definitely was not coming on. After my usual attempt to get my normal go to company to fix it and they were a no show, I started looking for another company. Hytek had all 5 stars from everyone who had reviewed them. I called them, and they sent someone out the next morning. The technician found the problem immediately and stated that he didn't have the part. He left to get it, and told me about when he should be back. As it turned out, he got hung up, but a different technician came out with the part. He installed the new thermostat quickly and checked to make sure everything was running. Both technicians were extremely polite and friendly. I also was somewhat shocked at the very reasonable price when I got the bill . I had 2 other companies tell me they would charge me $89 and $150 just to come out. I will definitely use Hytek next time I need repairs on my furnace or AC. I highly recommend this company!

  • I needed a complete replacement of my HVAC including the compressor. Voytek from Hytek came out and was very honest and straightforward about what would be needed. He encouraged me to get other quotes, which I did but no other company offered the same professionalism. I was told the replacement would take 2 days, but it ended up only taking one. Voytek and his team were so efficient in their work and even had to leave for a little while to go to "the shop" to get something to help in the replacement. The all worked a little late to get it done in one day. They all were so pleasant and one of his team felt so bad because he broke a candle in my bathroom and offered to pay for it. I told him it was not necessary because it was almost "gone" and before he left he apologized again and offered me money again. Such a great experience. Definitely use them!!

  • I had two false starts with companies that supposedly did swamp cooler repair before I found Hytek Air Systems.. The first one did, but couldn't get to me for more than a month (couldn't bear the thought) and the other showed in their online blurb that they worked on swamp coolers, but when the scheduler got back to me she said that they didn't, in fact. I got a nice email of apology from the company CEO but I was still sweating and irritable. Although their initial reply took a little longer to get to me, but Hytek Air Systems came through magnificently. The tech accepted that I could not afford to completely replace the system, but quickly determined that such a drastic step wouldn't be necessary. Much of the problem came from poor maintenance by a previous company that no longer works on swamp coolers. Once thoroughly flushed out and properly connected, the cooler functioned as well as ever for such an old unit. When it finally succumbs, I'll call Hytek to install a new one.

  • Today I turned my furnace on for the first time in months, and it... Didn’t want to be on. It seemed to be short cycling. Within a few minutes of sending out a request on Yelp, Hytek responded, and they were at my house three hours later. Hytek was very nice, and he went out and got the necessary parts and made the repair all within an hour. He showed me the old parts vs new and made sure I understood what he was doing. Hytek pointed out orange run-off caused by a leaky connection and condensation.   • Here are the cliff notes if you don't want to read five paragraphs...Hytek is the way to go!! Dan is amazing, no BSing or trying to add on unnecessary stuff. Explains everything in detail and willing to take the time to answer any questions. First winter in a new house with my 90 year old grandmother. Once it started getting colder we realized there was an issue with the heat. The furnace would kick off when it would get too cold and the only way to start it up again was to heat the house back up with the gas fireplace. Originally called the company the previous homeowners had used to install everything...earliest appointment was December 22, a month and half wait. Decided to catch out Yelp after it got down to 21 degrees and couldn't get the heat to kick back on with the fireplace. So glad I did! Rachel from Hytek, answered right away and quickly had us setup for an appointment. Dan from Hytek sent me a text message the day of the appointment stating he was so his way (well within the two hour window provided). When he arrived I explained the situation and the process I had to go through to get the heat it started up again. He was upfront and honest, saying he had never heard anything like it before. I really appreciated Dan's honesty, after talking to my brother and uncle (both experienced contractors) I knew it was a weird situation. Dan took a look at the furnace and right away could tell there had been an issue with flooding before. The motherboard had been damaged as a result, the question was if that was the only issue. He explained if there were other issues all the separate parts could add up pretty quickly and at that point it's almost better to replace the whole furnace. I'm originally from NY and companies there will literally try and have you do all these repairs only to have the whole thing to go kaput and need to be replaced a few months later. Dan called in for the part and setup an appointment have it replaced right away. Before he left, Dan even took the time to explain the situation to my grandmother and ask if she had any questions. The motherboard was replaced today and so far so good! We're going to test it overnight and have a fellow up call tomorrow morning to make sure everything went well. So grateful to Dan from Hytek, no more late night hours spent turning on fireplaces and electric heaters worrying about my grandmother being too cold or the pipes bursting.

My property management company was not being very accommodating and made things difficult to work with. Despite that and all the hoops they had to run through, Hytek (I was communicating with Rachel) were extremely flexible and were able to get someone out the same day as the property management company gave the green light. It also added up when they showed me what was going on step-by-step to get everything working in my house again. Also the equipment is top notch!
