If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be "amazing". Blake and Wendy turned our kitchen from a cramped, dilapidated, outdated kitchen into a great room that is a pleasure to cook and hang out in. The crew was VERY polite and VERY efficient in the demolition and subsequent installation of the new cabinets, hardwood floor, and granite countertop. We looked at the work just about every day during the span of the project. They took care of all our concerns, and they went out of their way to address some minor details after the work was officially done. We had 3-4 estimates for the work, and we have absolutely no regrets in choosing Harder Remodeling for our project.

We could not be happier with our basement that was finished by Harder Remodeling. The project was completed on-time and under budget. The crews arrived every morning on time, were very professional, and got to work immediately. If there was anyone new coming that day (electrician, plumber, etc) Blake would call and let us know what time and who to expect. The entire process from bid to picking out our selections to buildout was stress-free and seamless, Blake and Wendy were both wonderful to work with. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was also amazing, Blake and his crew made sure every last detail was perfect before our final walkthrough (which we couldn’t find anything that needed to be fixed). We look forward to recommending them without any hesitations to friends and family, and using them on our own projects in the future.

Harder Remodeling did a closet & washer/dryer room build out for me many years ago - he and his team are awesome and do amazing work. My job wasn't particularly glamorous or a fancy remodel, but they seamlessly created 2 additional spaces in my condo and no one ever has any idea they didn't exist before I moved in... I'll be calling him for some remodel work in our new house very soon! If you're a heavy researcher and only 4 reviews doesn't seem like enough for you, as someone who reads THOUSANDS of reviews and does research for weeks or months before doing something or making a large purchases, I'm sure you will be happy with their work!

I had 2 bathrooms remodeled by Blake and his crew. It was my first remodeling project and I was worried because of all the horror stories everyone has to tell. I had a great experience, no horror at all! Wendy was great to work with on the designs. Blake and his crew were professional, neat, and done on time! The work space was cleaned up at the end of each day. Blake kept me informed of what was going on and came by to check things out as needed. I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone planning a remodeling job.

We just finished our third major renovation using Harder Remodeling and have nothing but positive comments with regards to our experiences. They are so easy to work with. Customer service is amazing. They are fast but do a great job. Their workers are hard working, polite, reliable and always clean up at the end of the day. We had one other remodeling project in the last few years and used another company because we were going to have to wait for Harder Remodeling. Big mistake!! Harder Remodeling is worth the wait!

We bought a fixer-upper in the neighborhood we wanted. Harder Remodeling has renovated most of our home: two bathrooms, dining room, kitchen, moving a wall, new windows, etc. Their work has always been excellent. The estimates are reasonable, the craftsmanship is awesome, and they're great to work with. I recommend Harder Remodeling without hesitation. We are a fixer-upper no more!

We found This company through the BBB and are so glad we contacted them. Blake, the owner, came out after I got off work to give an estimate of our bathroom remodel. What was great is that he gave a low, middle and high quote based on what type of fixtures, cabinets and tiling we went with and how upscale we wanted the bathroom to look. He and his crew had full reign of my house, I fully trusted them to not let my cat out and they were all very friendly, funny and respectful. They finished right on time, didn't go over budget and even brought back a rug that they washed for me after spilling something on it! I would highly recommend Blake and his crew, including his wife Wendy who was delightful to deal with as well.

Harder Remodeling did an outstanding job! Prior to the work we had done, our cabinets were an eyesore, the floors were terrible, and our electrical was a structure fire waiting to happen. ]The job being completed, my wife and I continue to walk into the kitchen every day and exclaim, "Holy Crap! I freakin' love our kitchen!" Our formerly-decrepit, splintery hardwood floors look brand new and are a pleasure to walk on barefoot. Blake and Wendy gave us a great price and took the time to make sure that all of our concerns were addressed. Harder Remodeling's crew was fast with the demolition and installation of new stuff. Not only did they offer a very reasonable price (including the change-order items we requested as the work progressed), but they completed the work well within their estimated time frame. They also provided excellent support and follow-up visits for minor items like a nicked cabinet door and a little additional trim around our new backsplash.

I had a old bathroom that they re-tiled around the shower and re-tiled the floor. Also installed new tub and toilet. Plus new shower and bath accerories. Finished project on time and Blake and his crew were very polite and cleaned up every night.

I can’t recommend Blake and his crew enough. We got several estimates before starting work on adding a bath to the master bathroom and boxing in the loft for a 4th bedroom. Blake came in well under the competition and his crew worked tirelessly every day to get everything done within the estimate and earlier than expected. The work is exemplary, they had to build two new walls to box in the loft and after texturing and painting you can’t tell where the old wall stops and the new wall begins. We have several other projects we’d like to do in the future and honestly I may just forgo getting estimates from other companies and just bring Blake and his crew back in. You can’t go wrong with Harder Remodeling!

Harder Remodeling performed a remodel project for us in September/Oct 2015 and we were extremely pleased with the results. Blake and Wendy were very professional and so helpful with picking out the right products that would look perfect. Wendy has a real eye for design and her input was greatly appreciated. The project was done on time, on budget (except for the extras that I added) and done with minimal impact to our daily routine. Blake's crew of guys were wonderful as well. We only have about 500sf in our townhome yet Blake and his crew treated us like we were finishing a 2000 sf basement. They show up every day on time and work hard until the job is done. They do quality work and don't overlook a single detail.

Major remodeling of our bathrooms and kitchen were done very professionally and in time stated. The work was done in 5 weeks instead of 3 months as you would expect from the amount of work that was done including changes. If it were not for material order time for the changes, the work would have been done ahead of time agreed to. Blake's wife has a real talent for materials and creative design ideas for the look we were trying to achieve.

I find Blake and his staff to be professional, courteous, timely and responsible. Blake calls back promptly, his work is very detailed, he is flexible with changes and his prices are very reasonable. He went out of his way for us, coming over at "off" times to check on something or to put on some finishing touches.

We recently had a kitchen, family room and back porch project completed by Harder Remodeling and want to share our thoughts on the professional and quality service they provide. When considering having a remodeling/renovation project done it is natural to go through the list of items that identify a successful project; DOESN’T TAKE A LOT OF TIME, ON BUDGET AS PROMISED, ON TIME AS PROMISED, RESONABLY PRICED and CLEAN. With previous projects we’ve had other companies that failed in every one of these categories. But with Harder Remodeling we had a totally different experience. To begin with, Wendy and Blake are an amazing team that brings design and construction together to deliver a well-planned and well executed undertaking. Once the project had been planned in all aspects and the start date was set we eagerly looked forward to our new living space. We were amazed to find that the project was executed by a team large enough to actually finish on time when we sure (given the old wisdom that for any project you should plan on double the budget and double the time) no one could finish in the time frame estimated. We learned later that most of the construction team has been with the company for over five years. As the project continued we found the work to be skilled and also about as organized as a renovation could be expected. There were no surprises in the negative. In fact Blake was very accommodating with slight variations we came up with. I found that if anything He attempted to estimate either right on or higher than the final billing (for a specialty door and door frame for example). Lastly, check them out as we did. Everyone we talked to about their own Harder Remodeling project absolutely loved it. I encourage you to have a quote from Harder Remodeling for your next project you will not be sorry you did.

Harder Remodeling was great. They were the lowest bid, which initially gave me some hesitancy, but Blake (the owner) was very thorough in explaining the bid and why the cost was lower so chose them for our bathroom remodel. During remodel the team was great, they use their own guys, no subcontracting, so it's his same team for every job and it shows. Great craftsmanship and attention to detail in all the work they do and the two guys who worked on our bathroom we felt completely comfortable with them in our house while we were away. In fact, they did some chores around the house (bringing in the trash, etc.) without being asked on their own during some downtime! Result was exactly what we asked for under budget, will definitely use them again!

We had worked with Blake 5 years ago in a very big remodeling job. He was great to work with then. Recently, we needed his help in changing the old doors, which we had postponed 5 years ago due to our budget limitations. He and his crew were prompt, time wise accommodating, and finished on time and on budget. Most importantly Blake personally inspected and assured in the end that all the doors are functioning well. For Blake the phrase " No job too big, no job too small" fits very well. He just gets it done to perfection. We recommend him to anyone without any reservation.

Overall we are extremely happy with our project and with Harder Remodeling. Everything looks amazing and is very well done. We had two concurrent projects happening, a remodel of a basement and refinishing the master bathroom. From beginning to end this was a very easy and successful project. We stuck to the project plan and budget which, compared to our friends who are also going through remodels with other contractors, seems to be a rare trait. When we were told the plumber would be here, they were here. When they said the drywall would be done, it was done on time. Blake Harder was always responsive to inquiries on the project or requests for plan reviews. The team completing the work was very respectful of our home and diligent about the effort. At the end of the project when the final, small things needed to be completed, as should be expected in this type of project, Blake came personally to make sure it was done.
