I cannot begin to say how pleased I am with the work that Custom Decks did for my wife and I. We thought we knew exactly what we wanted but with a couple of recommendations from them it went from a deck to a dream. Every step of the way this company has been completely professional. They bent over backwards to do everything we wanted and more. One of the things that we were delighted with was how in tune all the various staff were with our project. From the sales person, to the phone calls at the office, to the crew that showed up to build it, every individual was completely aware of everything that was discussed. And, we were all on the same page. This is different than anything we have ever experienced from any other home improvement company. But there was one more wonderful surprise in store. When they were finished our project looked more like a work of art than a backyard deck. I would hire them again in an instant.

I am presently in discussions about the design and construction of a large deck extension to my house with Dale and his staff at Custom Decks of Denver. During this process I have visited 6 of their completed projects and I was completely impressed with the unique designs and quality of their craftsmanship and of the materials used. Their staff have been straightforward with their design concepts and costs and they respond to my questions promptly. You can't go wrong with these guys, they are the best in my opinion.

Dale and his team built an amazing deck for us! It included a stacked stone firepit with 700k BTU's! Yes, that is not a typo, it is awesome! The quality and craftsmanship of the deck and firepit is top notch. Dale was great to work with and answered the dozens of questions we had throughout the process. He was flexible and easy to work with and his crew was great. They finished early and we could not be happier with the results! Our realtor told us it has greatly increased the property value of our home.

Custom Decks built a deck for me in a difficult location, but the work was done impeccably and aesthetically pleasing, in an amazingly short time. Everything was done professionally and reliably, the cost was fair. I recommend these guys, I am happy with what was done.

I won a $10,000 custom built deck from a 104.3 The Fan Sweepstakes. It turned out amazing! The quality of work, craftsmanship, and attention to detail were exceptional. However, it took several months for them to finally figure out that I was the contest winner and that I wasn't going to do anything more than a $10,000 deck as indicated by the contest. They persistently tried to upsale me and at times I was concerned if I would ever get the deck I wanted. I simply wanted a redone deck with no gimmicks. Despite their unwillingness to redo my entire deck and staircase, I received an incredible 14x10 extension on my existing 8x10 deck after finally meeting face to face with Dale. Can't thank Eddie and Sev enough for their hard work and commitment to finishing this deck project even when the supplies fell short during the project and had to come up with it out of my own pocket.

We had our TREX deck replaced a year ago and found the experience very good! Came on time and finished up on time and we LOVE our deck!

My deck was falling apart and sagging in the middle and it wasn't safe to walk on. My insurance said they were going to drop me if i didn't get it fixed. So i called Custom Decks they showed up promptly and on time ran an estimate same day, then got to work. The builder even came out on his day off to make sure everything was good and we were happy. They explained everything they were doing every step of the way and had options for us to chose from throughout the project. I now have one of those decks that you see in a magazine. Highly recommend this company I couldn't be happier.

Custom Decks did a fabulous job on my deck! I am very picky about exact cuts and solid workmanship and theirs was top notch! They followed the exact design I had before, only using Trex this time, and they reconstructed it perfectly! I am especially pleased with their attention to detail, the dedication and friendliness of their workers, and most importantly the finished product! Fantastic company. Absolute top in their field. The projects they do are as much of a work of art as they are functional and usable home improvements. The owner is a creative genius in his ability to integrate any desire or feature that the customer wants into the completed build.

Built us a beautiful, well built deck that has already held up wonderfully over the past year. Was installed quite quickly (four days) once work began.

Dale and his Custom Decks crew were very easy to work with and built us a fantastic new deck. We love it! During the design & bid phase Dale was open to new design ideas to incorporate into his plan and always took the time to answer my many questions. Dale was professional and personal. His honesty and integrity was refreshing. I have been in the design and construction business for over 30 years and can say this was a very good experience. The deck was exactly as promised and he beat the estimated start and completion time. Good weather helped, but the crew showed up exactly as scheduled and stayed with the project until completion. These guys did my deck in 2011....and they did an amazing job. We were very happy with the quality, meeting expectations, timely delivery, etc. I wish I had written a great review on them at the time. So why am I writing this review in 2015? We needed some help with furniture replacement (they had done original order) and also had a concern about something with the deck. They responded as quickly and professionally as if we were a new potential customer. It just reinforced that we made the right decision in selecting them to do our deck replacement.

We are right in the middle of the project now, but their attention to detail, knowledge, and ease to work with are outstanding. The owner is onsite frequently and actively involved in all aspects of the project.

Dale the owner was curtious,very knowledgeable about the product and helped us with the design and how we wanted the deck built they called before coming because we have dogs and finished when they said they would and did a beautiful job we even wanted some more railing added and they came within the next day and installed it. We would HIGHLY recommend Custom Decks!!

Dale and team were truly amazing. They tore down the old decking and replaced with new. The quality of work was top notch and they even pushed to get it done within my tight time frame (before graduation)...as well as worked through some rain and snow! I love the new look, two-tone with a great privacy wall that they built for us as well. They worked around painters and landscapers -- can't thank them enough! I would highly recommend them - can't wait to start entertaining on our new deck.

The Custom Deck organization was very good. I have two new TREX decks that look great. The few minor issues we encountered during the project were quickly resolved. The crew (especially Tom and Mike) did a great job building the decks. They were very professional and detail oriented. It's a real pleasure to work with a team that is organized and does excellent work.

High quality craftsmanship. Custom Decks did a superb job completely replacing our large deck and adding a cover that matches the house and looks like original construction.
