I'm not saying the wallpaper in my home-office nook was hideous... No, wait, I AM saying that. It was ghastly. And to make matters worse, the stuff was intricately woven around behind a built-in desk which also needed to go. Not only did the pros at Colorado Skim Coating do a MASTERFUL job of replacing the ugly textured wallpaper with a smooth slick finish, but they also did the light remodeling necessary to get rid of the built-in stuff, and they left me with a freshly painted, beautiful nook that makes me happy to work there (which means greater productivity). I cannot recommend the Colorado Skim Coating team more highly. They are fantastic to work with, and they are exceptional in the way they clean up after each day's work so you can actually keep living (and working) in your place while the project's going on. Nowadays customer service seems to have been thrown out the window like bath water, but not for Doug and his team at Colorado Skim Coatings. Had a simple, yet complicated drywall repair to address above my entry and the skim job was perfect leaving nothing but perfection. (They did everything they said they would) We’ve now decided to have them skim the entire first floor…. go figure.

First and foremost they got rid of my out-of-date and dreadful popcorn ceilings that had been driving me crazy for years now. Second, they were able to bring my walls into the current decade with a modern yet timeless textured finish. On top of all of that I was still able to also get the paint job I had been wanting for so long with them. They were easy to work with and very communicative through the entire process.
We had our asbestos ceilings removed, and the process left our ceilings a mess! Colorado Skim Coating came out and made them all smooth again, including the tape seam! They perfectly matched the paint colors, touched up our walls, we couldn’t be happier!
Doug and his crew at Colorado Skim Coating did an excellent job at removing the popcorn from our ceilings (and part of our house has high vaulted ceilings – no easy task!).
