This is a reference letter for Mr. William Banks (aka Bill Banks), who is a well-known, honest, punctual and a highly reputed remodeling contractor. I am a resident of Arapahoe County for the last almost 40y; Aurora and my address is 20089 E. Arbor Dr. Aurora CO 80016. I hired Mr. Banks for my 3000 square feet basement remodeling project which he completed on August 20, 2021. I screened about 12-14 contractors for this project, but I found that Mr. Banks was very honest, reasonable, dependable, friendly, kind, family oriented and extremely reliable person. These were the important characteristics I explored in a contractor for my basement work and Mr. Banks possess all those qualities and I immediately spoke with my wife and two physician sons, and they also agreed with me. We all completed the work of a full kitchen with 14 feet marble counter, range, microwave, wine cooler and also one bedroom, bathroom with automated toilet, shower, big storage room and laundry area. He also installed an electric fireplace in the basement. He also designed along with the Best Buy team an open theatre with automated screen, big screen TV with latest technology/speakers and USB ports for standard cable computer connection. We also needed high quality white marble floors and wooden floors in the entire basement. Mr. Banks did an extraordinary and impressive job even during difficult time of COVID-19 when the material was hard to get. He took extraordinary safety steps to making sure that the home and the work environment is safe during peak COVID-19 pandemic such as use of porta potty outside the home for various workers. Approximately the total cost of remodeling our basement turned out to be more than $200,000K because we added many things from time to time during construction period and even after signing the contract. He paid extraordinary attention to all minor and major details according to our needs and he is meticulous. He made great suggestions from time to time which we accepted for he had the experience. He is very easy to work for he is honest, reliable and he has a team of great associates such as farmers, dry wall crew, carpenters, plumbers and electricians and painters who listen to him and follow his directions. We never had any issue(s) with the inspections, and all inspections passed with flying colors. As a result, we have an excellent basement, and we enjoy so do the guests. It was all worth it to hire Mr. Banks for it is hard to find such good contractors in these days. Interestingly, we hired him again in 2024 to do more work for 60K-70K in the basement because we wanted to add few more things. Additionally, last year, he also did some roof and gutter work as he is expert in roofing. I feel finding a good contractor is just like finding a diamond in a lump of charcoal. Therefore, I strongly and highly recommend Mr. Banks for any remodeling project in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Spring or anywhere in the US because he is experienced and do quality work.
