Apple Aire Heating and Cooling

We were very pleased with the weatherization work that Apple Aire did at our home. Our energy auditor Jason, who was very honest and straightforward, presented options that were detailed and prioritized. He also helped us get the maximum rebates available. The installation crew was courteous and thorough, and treated our home as if it was their own. The work Apple Aire completed including sealing recessed lights and skylights, and installing insulation in our attic. They also identified some other improvements we were able to do ourselves to make our home more energy efficient and saved us money. The end result was a noticeable improvement in our home's comfort.

We had a lot of work done this past December that literally transformed our place from a cold drafty house to a warm comfortable home. From start to finish, and in the timeliness in which the work done, we were thoroughly impressed with Apple Aire.
During the audit, Jason not only recommended obvious larger ticket items like insulation, but he gave us a list of smaller inexpensive things that we could do ourselves to improve our home's energy efficiency that really made a difference.
Matt, Mike and Darrell were professional, knowledgeable and kind and we felt we could trust them and their judgment. Consistently, they went well above and beyond anything we expected to ensure the job was done right and that we were not only happy and satisfied with their work but impressed by it.

We had a new furnace, air conditioner and water heater replaced. This was a very big job and one that we researched very thoroughly before deciding on Apple Aire. Todd was very detailed in his bid and very responsive to our questions. He sent his two sons to work on our project. Apple Aire, Inc. installed a new furnace in my townhouse in the summer of 2009 in conjunction with the new Boulder County Climate Smart Program. From the first interview with Todd, who described my options in understandable detail, made recommendations, and followed up politely, I couldn't be more pleased. Todd's contract saved me hundreds of dollars in comparison to an identical proposed installation and his continuing service contract sealed the deal. His installers, two delightful and professional brothers, were careful and polite and took the time to instruct me in the use of my new touch pad programmable thermostat. I look forward to firing up the new beast in the Fall and enjoying a more efficient and comfortable environment.

I have Apple Aire to my house twice and they have done a great job both times. The first time was this winter when we had a problem with our heater. They fixed it and we were able to stay warm. The second was this week. They saved us from buying a new dryer. I strongly recommend using Apple Aire.

Todd and crew have been great to work with over the past 4 years on numerous issues we have had. We originally had them come out to improve a heating and cooling issue with a bedroom over the garage and suggested a zoning system. Works great, no more cold bedroom. They have also been out to replace an old humidifier and most recently to replace an undersized furnace and AC and hot water heater on the fritz. With all the work we have had done, we can truly recommend them for any heating or AC work.

Todd was very polite and professional when I called him at 7:30 in the morning. Our furnace quit on us when the temp was -2. He came out when he said he would be here and the price was exactly what he quoted me. Never a sales pitch only suggestions as to what we should do in the future. we will call him in the future and will refer our friends to him.

Initially I called because of some trouble I was having with my furnace. I chose Apple Aire because of their listing here with Tom Martino. They were very responsive and came out the same day to look at the furnace. The diagnosis was that my heat exchanger was cracked and I needed a new furnace. There was not any pressure from the Tech. and I was left to make my decision. Given the history with my particular furnace I was not doubtful that this was the problem. I scheduled to have Apple Aire replace my furnace and they were able to do it the next day (they showed up 15 minutes before they said they would be there). Cost $3,200.00 for a Trane. I didn't not price around, so I'm not sure how competitive this is. However the installation was great, 2 technicians did the work and were very courteous and conscientious of our house. Work took about 2-1/2 hours. They took the old furnace with them and the new one has been working great. I did have to call them back to deal with a couple of corners and seams in the new duct work that was leaking air, which they did quickly the next day. All in all a great experience.

This company is the best....I will never use another....they do not give you a "3 hour" window, where you have sit and wait...they show up when you request....and they do terrific work. They are honest and dependable...they have been out to my home 3 times. They are the best, and I will never use another.

Todd was just here to do a heater inspection and cleaning. He was very professional and courteous. He did what he said he would do. He made a couple of recommendations however did not give a sales pitch. I would not hesitate to call Apple Aire in the future. I was surprised that a system humidifier would be so reasonable. My energy cost savings due to his visit today will more than pay off within just a couple months.

Called, set appointment, fast service for "dead" furnace. I found them online reading comments. Negative comments don't scare me and usually generated by angry people who use these sites as "venting" grounds. In service business I know. Highly recommend for service, honesty and product. Nov. 2010 we had to replace our 31 year old furnace and our entire experience with Apple Aire was painless and hassle free. Apple personnel are professional and knowledgeable about products and rebates available. We definitely would recommend them.

My old furnace broke down in the middle of the night on a 1 degree day. These guys came out quickly to assess, and then replaced the furnace and installed a new vent the same day. They were professional, courteous, and very careful not to track in snow and mud.

Our furnace went out on Wednesday night. I called Apple Aire on Thursday morning at 7:00am and received a call back from Todd, the owner in 10 minutes. He was at our home at 11:00 (the exact time he said he would be there). I wasn't sure if our furnace needed to be repaired or if we needed a new one. We did need to get a new one. Todd was very professional and explained all of options to me. He did not try to sell me the most expensive furnace. He was very informative and obviously knows exactly what he is talking about. He kept in contact with me throughout the afternoon as we decided what unit to get. He had his team out to our house by 5:00 and our new furnace was up and running by 8:45pm. AMAZING!!!!!!! My Carbon Monoxide alarm started going off on Thursday and I called Apple Aire right away. They were very friendly on the phone and Todd was up to our house in Conifer within 3 hrs. Our 45 year old boiler was done and Todd helped us choose a new boiler to replace it. He was very knowledgeable and walked us through everything. They had to rearrange their schedule in order to put our new boiler in the very next day. Matt and Shane were here the next day right when they were supposed to be here and they worked all day with Todd to make sure it got finished that day. They did a great job and were super friendly throughout the entire process. We couldn't be happier with our experience with this company and definitely recommend them.

Apple Aire provided us the most amazing service. Our furnace went out 2 weeks after moving into a new house. Todd (the owner) came out on short notice ,as a second opinion, and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. They did everything possible to get the furnace installed and working and stayed until 1030 at night to get the job done. The furnace was installed cleanly and professionally and worked perfectly. They have also gone out of their way to help us fill out rebate paperwork and answer questions to help us get our rebates. I can't say enough about Apple Aire. Since the day I called them they have continued to go way above and beyond. They have provided service that I didn't know still existed. The furnace at my parent's house caught fire on a Friday evening. Todd came out first thing Saturday to assess the situation, and by Saturday afternoon, they had a new working furnace. I had to have my furnace replaced last fall, and knew I had to call Apple Aire. Just like my parents experience, mine was excellent. Todd and the technicians who provided the service were prompt and courteous. They even offered to vacuum before they left!

We have had Apple Aire perform work on two home we have owned. Both were projects with difficult situations to solve. They did a thoughtful and practical solution in both cases.

Our home used to be too hot in the upstairs bedrooms during the summer and too cold in the first floor and basement in the winter. The house is now comfortable year round on all floors. Apple Aire was the only contractor to offer viable solutions to our HVAC and plumbing problems. They offered a contract at a competitive bid and performed the work in a timely manner. It was a big job (replaced heater, a/c unit, whole house humidifier and eternal hybrid water heater) There were a few bumps along the road but it was nothing Apple Aire could not handle. I will hire them again without any reservations

I had problems with ARS and realized there has to be better companies out there. Came to Tom's website and found Apple Aire. Excellent business and professional service. Job well done!

Previously we had two separate companies come (found from flyers saying $79 special on inspections)… Instead of actually trying to fix the problem, they just tried to sell us new A/C unit in one case, and a new coil in the other (2 totally different things). We are very happy with our new American Standard variable speed furnace and ac coil. Todd at Apple Aire evaluated our heating and cooling needs. He also suggested how to improve balancing the air flow in our home. His price was very competitive. His crew did an excellent job installing the equipment. My furnace went out and another company charged me, didn't fix the furnace, put a new one in, cut the water line to my ice maker, didn't tell me, the leak flooded my downstairs, ruined the new furnace that they put in. We can't say enough good things about Apple Aire! Long story short we had to replace both air and furnace. With such a major expense, Todd explained everything and encouraged us to do our own research. The other two estimates were unimpressive in comparison so we moved forward with Apple Aire. When the team came out to do the install they were courteous, and very thorough. They ran into some complications due to the setup of our basement but didn't rush the job, they took their time and did it right. The job was done very professionally. I would strongly recommend Apple Aire!

i was hoping for a repair but had to go for a replacement. Luckily, I had called the right company. They diagnosed and suggested options without pressuring me. I ended up with a new heating and air system that is terrific And at a great price. I put my trust in Apple Aire and they delivered! Great company!!!

After our rooftop A/C died the first week of October, we originally called another company, who quoted my wife over $5,000 (!!) to replace a "burned-out compressor" and install an entirely new unit. 🙁
