Tuscan Electric, Heating, Plumbing and Air - HVAC

My experience working with John was extremely helpful and professional. He was able to come out within 24 hours of my inquiry, and he got our AC up and running in no time! I’m not the handiest person, so I really appreciated John walking me through what was going on and helping me find the most cost-effective solution. So many AC companies don’t even bother to propose a repair. They just tell you that you need an entirely new system. That was not at all the experience of working with John. He was very honest and transparent. Thank you so much for the great service!

After Tuscan diagnosed that my 20-year-old furnace and AC needed to be replaced they sent their expert team of Joe and Bruno out to replace my 2 zone system and while my HVAC system was being replaced Jim recognized that my old electrical panel was in a dangerous state. John from Tuscan came to check the water leaking issue in our furnace, he did a very thorough check. John explained patiently what the problem is and provided estimates with different options. John is very honest and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

We replaced our old furnace and air conditioning, purchasing a new system with heat pump. Tuscan was able to start right away. They protected our floor, removed the old air conditioner from the roof and installed a new furnace and heat pump - it works very well! The technicians were knowledgeable, hard working, and diligent - they were helpful showing us how the system and thermostat worked. Good experience.

Muris was fantastic. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and HONEST. Had him do a sewer line inspection. He also gave quotes for all of our needs for when they do arise after checking everything we were concerned about. Will request him back for sure! And he was GREAT with our dog, which was important. I'd definitely recommend.

Bruno and Joe were efficient, professional and hardworking, as well as very considerate of having minimal impact on our lives. Had a great experience working with Landon, Gabe, and Keith on replacing our water heater quickly and at a reasonable price. Came home from vacation to a broken water heater and they got a new one in in less than 24 hours.

Replaced a 25-year-old boiler and a 50 gallon side tank with a tankless wall mounted unit. We planned to obtain estimates this summer after having service and a replacement estimated this past winter. The old unit started acting up last week and after reading several positive reviews on Next Door I contacted Tuscan for service and an estimate. Drilon stopped by and took the time to explain the pros and cons of the different setups. His estimate came in a little lower and provided a discount if we decided to replace now and not delay until this summer. Joe did the removal and install of the new until. He did a great job putting together the puzzle, explaining a few modifications needed due to the confirmation of our house. He layed out protection material for our flooring and made sure we had hot water and heat the first night. He returned the next day for a few hours to complete the installation, explaining how to operate after completion. Armando finished the installation with new electrical plug location that meets the safety requirements. We recommend Tuscan for their timely, informative and friendly service. It’s only been two days, but everything works great.

Tuscan was very responsive and quick to respond to my request for plumbing services after we had issues with our washing machine several days ago. Unfortunately, the power in our neighborhood went out during our originally scheduled time but Tuscan made the process of rescheduling super easy. Our technician, Jon Miller, was extremely professional and able to answer all of my questions related to our issue. Ultimately, he determined that we did not have an actual plumbing issue and was able to refer us to someone who could ultimately help us. I would definitely work with Tuscan again in the future!

Jim Cox is great for electrical issues! Jim came to fix my smart doorbell. It turned out I needed a new transformer. I was given the estimate for that up front and it was fixed on the spot. Since that went so well, I asked Jim to look at my smart thermostat and install that too. Thanks, Jim! Update: Muris Bogilovic is awesome for plumbing issues. Muris came to look at a leak I had in my sprinkler backflow. Muris was super friendly and fixed it quick. It turned out to be an easy fix - whew! Thanks, Muris!

I could not have been more pleased!

I had a whole new HVAC system installed by Joe Johnson and Bruno Espinoza. They arrived on time and were both very polite. I had been told when I placed the order that it would be a 1 day job and it ended up being 2 days, but Joe told me they would be done by 4pm on day 2 and he was exactly right. Joe also took great care in making sure everything in the area where he was working was properly protected (my furnace is in the attic which is accessed through a bedroom), and when the job was done you would never know anyone had been working there. When he was finished, Joe took the time to explain to me how the system works (which is a lot different from how my old system worked) and answered all my questions patiently and politely. I started this process with Tuscan thinking I only needed an AC tuneup and ended up buying a whole new system, but the experience was painless from start to finish.

Keith Faust serviced our heater for winter. He let us know when he was coming and showed up on time. He did a great job and even made a few suggestions for future repairs but didn’t pressure us to do them right away.

We just hired Tuscan to install a heat pump and new furnace for our home and we couldn't be happier with the process and outcome! We got multiple quotes from companies in the area and ultimately went with them because not only did they have competitive prices, they went into great detail to help us find a solution for our home. Dominic did a great job identifying what work we needed and the best unit for our budget and home. Mike and Armando did the install and were extremely friendly, professional, detailed and caring of our home! You wouldn't even know they were in our home and we can already tell after one day of use that the new system is working great! We have a new go-to company for our home needs!

J Miller arrived to a jammed garbage disposer. Working from the bottom with an Allan tool he got the disposer loosened and working. John checked several other issues with the plumbing system, very thorough and knowledgable.

Oliver Garcia was so great! We had to do a repair that we were unsure of was even going to fix our problem. Not only did he do the repair and test other issues, once we learned that all the work he did didn’t fix the problem and we needed a new unit all together, he didn’t actually charge us for the trial-and-error work actually done. What amazing service and kindness we were shown! While it’s unfortunate, we have to get a whole new unit, we will definitely be going to Tuscan to do it!

I highly recommend Tuscan. Drilon and Armand were both great. Drilon even checked the expansion tank on my hot water tank and discovered it was full of water and offered to replace it no charge if we went to buy the part. I found them knowledgeable, friendly, timely, and communicative. Furnace passed inspection no problem.

The Tuscan HVAC technician that I scheduled for AC servicing was prompt, efficient, thorough, and professional. He explained all available options from repairs to full replacement of my HVAC system, including rebates, and was very knowledgeable about heat pumps. As a bonus, Tuscan schedules two-hour appointment windows as opposed to the four-hour windows available through other HVAC companies. I plan to use Tuscan again once I decide which option to pursue with my current HVAC system.

Armando and Jake are THE BEST! We have worked with Armando for over 5 years now and he has done multiple projects at our home. Everything is done to the highest quality, he is professional, on time, and very trustworthy. Jake is also amazing and cleaned up so well when he was here for our last project, I was really impressed. For any of our electric, heating, or plumbing needs we use Tuscan and highly recommend

I hired Tuscan to wire some ceiling fans in our spare bedrooms (which did not have any permanent light fixtures installed previously.) Jake was on time, professional and did a great job with the project. Most importantly, he left the rooms as he found them, clean! I highly recommend Tuscan for any electrical work.

I had no heat this AM. I called Tuscan after 2 other heating services were not able to diagnose problem. Gary answered the phone, listened to my issue and made it work so my furnace could be assessed today. John William, technician, found the issues which were significant and totally missed by the other 2 services. Singed wiring and circuit were found! The furnace unfortunately will need to be replaced but it's a small price to pay when you consider what could have happened. I am so grateful for John's expertise and quick resolution. And Tuscan will install a new furnace today!

I had a breaker that had tripped causing all 3 bedrooms to lose electricity. I tried and tried to flip the breaker to reset it without success and thought it had just gone bad needing to be replaced. I found Tuscan on Next Door with good recommendations, and I took it a step further to go to their website and read google reviews, all pretty good. So here I am adding to those today. Dominic came out for an appointment the day after I had called. I thought that was pretty quick. I had asked too that while they were out to have my air conditioning serviced as well. The breakers he flipped and the electric came right on. He said it happens. He was very kind and showed me how to do it “one fluid movement, all the way right then all the way left. Don’t hesitate.” He went on to service the air conditioner and praised me for replacing the filters regularly which is the number one cause of problems with failures happening. He answered all my questions patiently and without judgement. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend using them for their knowledge, customer service and integrity.

Had the crew from Tuscan Electric out to do the electric part of my kitchen remodel and they were wonderful. They were on time, clean and efficient. They always kept us up do speed on the progress of the work and what was coming next. They were great with our Dutch Shepherd Oreo. The price was more than reasonable for the quality work they provide. Highly recommended!
