Split Rail Fence Company

After a "bomb-cyclone" effectively put our fence on the ground, Split Rail was amazing in getting our fence back up! This is my first experience with needing fence replacement and SRF made it as seamless as possible. Melissa was especially helpful getting the needed quotes to us and the owners on the other side of the fence.

I just wanted to take a minute to write a review for Split Rail.
We had a PVC (vinyl) fence installed 4-5 years ago, each and every year we had a panel 'blow' out. Each year I called to have it repaired and let them know that considering the high cost of the fence we should not be having these issues.
A few months ago, another blowout, then another.
After numerous calls to various departments I finally called the President who explained that the company had been bought and that they were taking steps to have complaints addressed.
Within the week the Manager of Training, Jeff Erhart, called me and said that he and the Superintendent of Installation, Josh Leonard, would be out to go over the entire fence.
Today was that day, not only did they replace several panels that were not correctly, they added handles to the gates and adjusted them so that they were easier to open!
If you have had problems it the past with Split Rail please take a moment to call them (be nice they will help), explain the situation and give them the chance to make it right!

Very satisfied with the work. Melissa was great to work with. She gave me many options and pricing and is excellent with communication. I have heard in the past that this company has very high prices.. I would disagree based on other estimates I received. The quality workmanship and quick turnaround of the product/service was exceptional. My recommendation would be to call Melissa and have her meet with you. Very satisfied client and would definitely not hesitate to use and refer split rail fence company.

At first we were skeptical about considering Split Rail Fence Company because of the low ratings and the fact that they closed Dacono location but I have to say we were so impressed not only with the quality and price of their fence but the excellent service in the office and out in the yard as well !! You can't get better quality than here...

Was very satisfied with Split Rail. Not only did they beat
the competition in price but in service and quality as well. There was a miss-understanding and Carlos McCuskey was quick to respond and solve the problem. The fence looks beautiful.

From estimate to completion, they exceeded my expectations. Terrific team. Alan, the new owner, actually came to our home and thanked me for our business. I simply cannot recommend them enough.
Autumn and Jeff bailed me out of a tough spot with the HOA. They went way above and beyond to help get this job completed. Good people who delivered a good product on time. Doesn't get better than that.

Brock came over and gave a competitive bid for us. Was also especially helpful that they are the Home Depot approved contractor, meaning no interest payments for 2 years. We ended up getting a 6' aluminum fence w/ spikes around a fairly large yard.
Great job by Jeff and his team on the installation. We were really impressed both by the work conducted and the way Jeff managed the project. He walked us through the game plan, resolved any expected issues (i.e. requiring additional manpower to get the job done on time and was great at communicating throughout. The end product looks great as well.

Split rail fence installers were professional, timely and hard workers. There were 2 crews who handled the install, one to clear the old fencing and set the posts, the other installed the pickets. Enjoyed working with both. They did everything they said they would and the fence looks great. Would highly recommend.

I just used Split Rail for my back yard fence installation and it was a great experience. Jaimie the sales rep was there to help me through every step of the process. I would recommend asking for him by the way. The fence turned out better than before because of suggestions Jaimie had made to make the design better. A+ job!

We purchased a new home and used Split Rail Fence Company to build a fence for our yard that conforms to the HOA requirements. They were fast, friendly, professional, and did an amazing job. They really stand by their work as we ran into an issue with needing to move the fence. They worked with us every step of the way, explained our options, and helped us arrive at the best resolution. Most importantly this company cares about their work and their clients. Throughout the entire process we felt that we were in good hands with them, and we were. Cannot recommend highly enough!!! I'm very impressed. They said they'd arrive between 10:30 and 11am. Then they sent an e-mail saying that our adjustor, Melissa, was on her way. Melissa arrived right on time, was friendly, informative and friendly, I really respect a company that performs as expected!

Shout out to Split Rail Fence Company in Highlands Ranch Colorado. Job was done quickly, well done and cleaned up after they were done. Very conscientious workers Jeff Erhart and Charles Sylvester, said they wouldn't do anything they wouldn't do on there own homes. Not the lowest bid, but well worth the extra expense!

I called Split Rail today despite the poor reviews to buy fencing materials for my house. They helped me figure out what I needed and how I could save money on materials by building the fence in a specific way. Their prices were very reasonable and I decided to go with them after quite a lot of shopping around. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely use this company in the future.

Apparently, this company has gone through ownership change because I've had a great experience with the owner.

In and out quickly with what I needed! Have a couple cribbing horses who managed to chew through some large sections of fencing. Talk to these guys, and they had the sections of fencing that I needed. I was in and out with what I needed in less than 10 minutes.

I just bought a new house and needed to add some fencing to the back yard for my dog. When they measured the yard, they hoped they could install in about 3 week, much earlier than other companies I had bid it.
When it was getting close to the three weeks, they called and said they were having a hard time locating enough material to do my job, as it was a big yard. They sent out the Forman and a supervisor to look the yard over. They found some material but still 2-3 weeks. Naturally I was disappointed but they said if they had a cancellation, they would give it to me. I thought, "yea right". THE VERY NEXT DAY, they said they were on their way out. They did a fantastic job. Very Happy.

The workmanship was great. My only complaint was the delay in getting the job done. I addressed this with management, and they were responsive.

Great folks at the Co. Springs location! From the initial consultation to the completion of work, everyone was kind and professional. I had some pretty significant wear and tear, plus weather damage to my fencing and now it looks amazing again! I recommend this company hands-down!

All parts of the project were handled very professionally from estimate to scheduling to construction.
I was especially impressed with Charles and his crew when it came to the layout and installation of the fence posts.
He took great care in aligning all the posts to create a very straight and even look to the entire project.
I believe this was the most critical phase as everything else attaches to the posts.
The wire mesh and rails went very well too although I was not there much that day.
We had to leave a section out for landscapers, but it was completed quickly and completely as soon as it became ready.
All in all, you guys really delivered and we are very satisfied.
We are very, very pleased with the quality and final product of our fence.

We have now used Split Rail Fence & Supply twice. Each time has been great! They have always been very courteous and professional. This time it was on our new home that had a fence installed 15 years ago that needed some new gates and some new fencing. Once they finished the work we requested, we felt there was an issue with how a portion of the fence was installed. We called the superintendent directly to discuss our issues. They were very polite and said they would be out the next day. The superintendent came out and confirmed the issue. He fixed it all himself that day. We could not be more pleased and will continue to use them for all of our fencing needs in this house and wherever we move to on the front range. Could not recommend highly enough.

Split Rail installed fences for 2 properties I manage in Castle Rock and were fantastic. Especially Jamie...she was very responsive and helped us figure everything out with neighbors too (shared fence). She was patient while we figured things out and excellent to work with!! I would like to take the time to thank the Split Rail Fence Company. I am an Instructor at a Denver area high school, and I reached out to local building supply companies for material donations. Out of the twelve different companies I reached out to, only two responded. Split Rail was very eager to provide our students with the material to work on a project with one of our nonprofit community partners. Samantha was very receptive and helpful, as well as being timely. When I went to pick up the material, it was ready and the yard guys were very helpful. We hired Split Rail Fence to install metal ornamental fencing in the front of the house and a wood/wire section of fence along the back. We couldn't be happier about the result. SRF was professional, on time, good price and they were quite helpful in where to put the fence and the materials to be used. I would recommend SRF to anyone needing a fence installed in the Boulder area.

I built my own fence and used the retail arm of Split Rail. I wanted to use 1" x 6" x 5' dog ear pickets and had the hardest time finding a supplier. Thankfully Split Rail had the pickets in stock and was super helpful with getting me everything I needed. I will definitely go back for fence material from Split Rail.

I thought these folks did a great job. Our only concern was to make sure our small dogs could not get out of the yard. We have to have a specific fence type and Split Rail did a great job. See pic! There is a square mesh fence over the three rail. Also, the gate is dog proof at the bottom (see pic). A few recommendations. 1) If you have dogs, try to get concrete under the gate. 2) I know people want to maximize their yard and often the fence extends to the front of the house. Instead, have the fence start at the back of the house. This helps limit blind spots where you cannot see your dogs and also pushes the dog back 30-50 more feet from the front sidewalk. You'd be surprised how much this cuts down on barking when someone walks by. Anyway, enjoy!

So far excellent. We've only made the appointment and are waiting for the estimate. The estimator Melissa was on time, professional and excellent to work with.
