Jake does great work! We hired Deck Escapes to vault our covered patio, add a tongue & groove ceiling, lighting, outlets for speakers, two ceiling fans, and all of the accompanying siding and trim. Jake's communication is top notch, he and his team show up on time, work quickly, and pay attention to all the little details. I'm *very* satisfied with how the project turned out!

I own a landscape company and when it comes to carpentry I always hire Jake and his team. He’s very professional and over communicates during the job which I like. I’ve worked with a lot of carpenters and I must say he really is the best at what he does. I only go to him now and I highly recommend him.
I’m the facilities director and art teacher at Bixby School in Boulder, a p/s-5th grade private non-profit. For 15 of my 25 years here, I’ve done most of the repairs on our wooden playground structure called lower yard which is basically a low ropes course that was built by the founder of our school 40 some years ago of redwood. With our 50th anniversary coming up next year, we wanted to do a major repair and started looking around for builders. We were looking for someone that understood the importance of maintaining the integrity of what generations of kids had grown up playing on, many who come back to visit the school and for more than a few; send their kids and grandkids here. Jake quickly understood that we were nervous about the prospect of completely refurbishing this iconic structure and was the builder who saw why it was so important to maintain it’s character and the role it plays in our schools culture. Jake gave us suggestions for how we could stay within our budget which we knew was going to be tight, redwood isn’t cheap. We had a work day on Saturday where parents came to demo parts that we were repairing and one of his crew volunteered his own time to help out. Every one of his crew are the kind of people I felt comfortable having around our kids. I would be happy to send pictures of the structure they built and answer any questions from yourself or anyone looking for a builder. Jake and Deck Escapes made me and lots of kids and families at Bixby School very happy.

Jake has constructed a deck for me, it is a showcase. He remodeled many things for me in my home, my bathroom, closets etc. He always did a great job and made sure it was to my liking.
