By coincidence I contacted Applewood to assist with my water heater, and after working with Kyle Simpson, I’ll be contacting them again when needed.

The whole experience with Applewood was very professional from scheduling appointments to their certified tech, Kyle. Not only did he fix the issue, he offered to teach me about how the issue occurred and other counter measurements to consider with my plumbing. Truly a comfortable experience all around.

Preston performed our yearly furnace tune-up. He was very personable as well as professional. In addition to tuning up the furnace, he was able to point out several areas to keep an eye on in the future. We were very pleased with his work.

Jake from Applewood has always been prompt, professional Nd knowledgeable about any problem he has handled for us. Well worth the money we spent.

Applewood technician, Jeremy S. visited my home to make a repair on Jan. 11, 2014. He made the repair to my shower even though it was a harder job than he anticipated. He worked very hard to fix an old valve, but when he couldn't he made a trip to a supplier for a replacement. He was friendly and informed me all along of what he was doing and why. He even went the extra mile and installed an over sized plate behind my shower faucet where a previous repair had left two holes in the tile. Everything was cleaned up and everything works! Thanks so much for the great service.

Our problem was a dead circuit due to a break in a neutral wire. Brian came outand couldn't determined that the problem was in a hidden junction box. He was efficient, courteous, prompt and competent, and did not charge us as he was unable to solve the problem. He recommended Tony who had a line break locator device. Tony came the next day and resolved the problem. He was also efficient, courteous, prompt and very competent. We were very impressed with their work and give them our highest recommendation. Maybe not the least expensive, but they will get the job done right.

Dave was our representative from Applewood. We are trying sell our home and needed an inspection and repair for our sewer line. He was very professional and so kind to my Mother whom is residing at the house. After the work was done they helped my Mother by raking all the leaves in the yard! Now that's great customer service. They took care to put on booties in the house cleaned the work area when everything was completed. All the work, permits, and inspections were done in half a day. We were amazed and pleased with their work. Outstanding!

I normally do my own electrical repairs, but I had a couple of issues that truly needed a professional. Applewood was a snap to schedule - I was shocked at how soon they were able to get someone here. Walt arrived, and I explained the couple of issues I had. He was great at explaining things to me, as he understood I was a 'home handyman' that normally took the do-it-yourself approach. Instead of just fixing what I needed, he also showed me exactly what he was doing and how certain circuits and wiring worked. After my chandelier fixture box wiring repair, he also assisted me with a ventilation fan. And when done, the bill was less than expected. I'm sold. I joined their Service Club, and from now on - if it's more than two screws and two wire caps, I'm going to take the easy way and call Applewood.

When I first called Applewood I just wanted 2 lights hung, something I couldn’t do myself. Everyone was very nice and Doug came out the next day. After finding out I had aluminum wiring in the house and the breaker box was leaking and burning, he suggested having the box replaced. It took him all day (which was fast) and was so profoundly accurate, I pulled up a chair to watch. It was like watching snychronized swimming. Before I knew it my two lights were hung and my breaker box redone! Yes, it put a dent in my pocketbook, but the improvements that were made are incredible.
Next! My sewer backed up in the basement and Blaine (on a Sunday) came and fixed it. The Gold Club is the way to go, that’s for sure, because 3 days later the sewer backed up again. Brian came out and did warranty work and again everyone was so very nice!
Finally, I was having some plumbing issues at my rental property and Bruce came out to work his magic. He will be returning soon to do a large Master Bath job.
This company is not only thorough but also kind and knowledgeable. They put me at ease and even sent me a “Thank You” tin of cake pops! I would highly and happily recommend Applewood to anyone looking for exceptional service!

We're new to owning a condo in Colorado - and suddenly had a plumbing problem. We had seen Applewood trucks at various times on the condo property - and when we saw that we could call in late evening knew we would try Applewood. The scheduling was done for early next day, an email was sent with a photo of our plumber and he arrived on time!! Johnny G. was very professional, gave us a price as what it would take to fix our problem, explained what he had done to fix our problem. He was quick, clean and very efficient. We will use Applewood again and recommend them to anyone!

I have used Applewood for three different issues this year. I signed up for the club membership in May when I had an emergency and the electrician came out on a Sunday afternoon to restore the power to my house. Then I needed to have my furnace fixed. I just used their services again and took advantage of have the water heater tuned up. I can't even tell you how much money I have saved with the membership but I am so glad I have it. All three guys have been very pleasant, polite, very helpful and explained what they were going to do, etc.

I had Greg Booker from Applewood here at my home today to repair my heating/AC which would not turn on. Within minutes he had determined what the problem was; had to wait for a short time for a part to be delivered, and once repairs were completed all was working as it was supposed to. Gregg was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient, and I am very pleased with his service. I am confident that my appliances will now work as they are supposed to, and no longer worried about being without heat as summer comes to an end, or AC if we have a hot Indian Summer. Very professional and personable

After having a problem tenant in my rental property, the bathroom plumbing was a complete disaster. Johnny met me in the unit within a few hours of my call, fixed a leak in a copper pipe, snaked the bathtub and toilet, and told me exactly what kind of fixture to purchase at a local home improvement store to help keep my costs down. He then came back to install the new fixture and dispose of the old one. Through it all, he was uniformly helpful and cooperative. I hope I never have the same kind of problem, but I wouldn't hesitate to call Johnny for any plumbing issue.

Scott came out to provide an estimate for electrical work associated with installing central air. He was straight-forward and honest with his assessment of the needed work, even though he had to deliver the bad news that the electrical circuits in my 41 year-old house were not built to handle the added load of A/C, and would thus require significant additional cost to replace. I admire a technician who is sufficiently candid to tell me the honest truth--Scott was genuinely looking out for my welfare and safety rather than merely looking to book a job. I am sincerely impressed with Applewood, and have no reason to doubt that every technician they employ is equally as friendly and completely honest as Scott.

Walt Frizzell did an excellent job installing our ceiling fan yesterday. Walt has a great disposition and was great to have in our home. He was very thorough and knowledgeable and explained everything to me in detail. Even when there was difficulty removing the old junction box, Walt was calm and did what it took to remove it properly without any damage to the ceiling. He was caring about my home like it was his. I will definetly use Applewood again and when I need electrical work done, I will ask for Walt to come do the work. Great job Walt!! I really appreciate your work ethic and abilities.

Jaime was prompt, did a through review of all plumbing in home and provided a breakdown of potential problems with a price for each item that we could choose which problem we wanted to correct.

He did not pressure us into any one problem. He corrected all that we wanted to fix and he approached each one in a systematic approach and corrected all problems that we wanted to correct.

After calling many places, I chose Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric for a few reasons. First, they didn't pressure me into choosing them before I had made my final decision. Second, they were able to tell me about their warranty policy over the phone, rather than insisting on waiting until the technician came out. Third, the technicians are certified and come in a fully stocked truck. Greg was the technician who came to fix my problem. He was well-dressed, polite, and professional. He had a book that showed the standard fee for fixing my particular problem. I liked that, because I knew he wasn't just making a figure up in his head, as some companies do. They charge by the job, not the hour, and their quote does not change if they run into problems or if the job takes longer than expected. I will definitely use Applewood again.

Craig was very professional and persistent in diagnosing the problem I was having. He explained options clearly and was very efficient in going about his business, I was very pleased with his service. When the problem turned out to be more severe than a simple clogged line, he was very helpful in bringing in additional resources to fix the problem.

Excellent service! Called at 7:00 pm and a tech was at my house the next morning at 8:00. Applewood called to inform me the tech was on his way and provided confirmation information via email. I liked being able to talk with a real live person instead of leaving a message and hoping someone would call back.The tech was friendly and efficient. He explained the options and completed the work in about an hour. Applewood called a few minutes after he left to check to see if I was satisfied. On Friday, 12/09/2011, Jaime Rodriguez repaired a problem kitchen faucet and under-sink shut-off valves in our home. His professionalism, careful consideration,thorough explanation, good humor and enthusiasm made him a joy to have in my home and a sterling advertisement for Applewood. I anticipate a need for additional plumbing service soon. I'll insist on Jaime as the person to do that work. Thank him again for me and tell him how important to your business someone like him is and how rare such individuals are.

We were experiencing problems with the toilet in my wife's dressing room and called Applewood around 2:30 pm to report it, expecting to be told they could come out the next day (which would be no problem as it was a non-critical type problem) only to find that they were able to have a service person available between 4 and 6 that very day. At 4 we were called and Dave showed up ready to work at 4:30pm. What response!!! Dave examined the whole system and was able to quickly and professionally correct and eliminate the problem. In addition, Dave was kind enough to spend some extra time explaining to my wife and I the pros and cons of the dual flush toilet which we have been considering as a replacement to some of our existing toilets and that information will make us better informed to make the right decision in this area. Generally I find little reason to send a note of thanks or appreciation to companies, mostly because there seems to be so little in the way of quality service and professionalism available anymore. However, in the case of Applewood, it’s different. We have used Applewood Plumbing, Heating & Electric on numerous occasions over the past several years and have experienced professional, quality and responsive service each and every time. Applewood’s business model assures you know before the work begins what the final cost of the job will be. There are no ‘add-ons’ or ‘supplemental charges’ that suddenly arise half way through a job. Applewood employs only the most experienced and knowledgeable plumbers, electricians and heating professionals who are licensed and have great trade skills. There is little doubt one can find somebody else who will offer to do a job for less cost than Applewood. However, this is an old adage that applies: There is scarcely anything in the world anymore that some man cannot make a little worse, or sell a little more cheaply. The person who buys on price alone is this man’s lawful prey. Thanks Applewood for setting such high marks for quality, professional, responsive and courteous service.
