Dishwasher Tips

  • Run the water in your dishwasher at at least 130 degrees to ensure clean and dry dishes. You may also find you need to use a rinse agent (like JetDry) with newer dishwashers to make sure your dishes are drying properly. With the new energy efficient standards, new washers don’t always stay hot enough to dry the dishes completely.
  • Occasionally check your cutlery holder for holes.  If any of your silverware is slipping through the bottom of the holder, it can prevent the spray arm from turning, causing poor wash ability.
