V.A.M.P. L.L.C. is a commercial and residential family owned stucco contracting company that serves the Denver Metro Area. We are currently looking for a full time Color Matcher to assist an already successful team and match stucco color to existing color for scheduled projects. The Color Matcher will be based out of our offices in Englewood but will required to travel all over the Denver metro area in order to match on-site. Previous paint matching experience or experience in art involving color interaction knowledge is preferred but not mandatory. We are willing to train the right person.
This position is paid hourly. Compensation will be $16/hour during the 2 month training/probation period and will go up to $18/hour after successful training is completed. Work hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm with a 30 minute lunch. Work vehicle, phone, and gas will be provided.
Candidates that will be given serious consideration will be:
Organized- multi task multiple matching projects with varying priority.
Detail oriented- Able to navigate the intricacies of color interaction.
Reliable- On time, always comes to work, consistently gives their best effort, consistently communicates with clients and management.
Excellent Communication Skills- prompt customer communication, relaying information any pertinent information to management.
Intelligent and able to learn quickly.
Flexible- Able to effectively reorganized based on changing job priority.
Have strong moral character- Must be honest and possess strong work ethic.
MUST POSSESS STRONG COLOR VISION
- • Schedule appointments to acquire color samples with clients. • Drive 26 foot long RV containing color machine to color match on location. • Understand job scope and cut sample from appropriate area. • Adjust sample to match stucco at location using colorant tints. • Prepare sample cards to check accuracy. • Prepare color vials after color approval. • Be able to save color information and navigate computer system in color machine. • Proficiently operate and maintain color machine. • Prepare schedule and materials needed each day. • Foresee potential problems and aid team to avoid or resolve problems before they impact projects. • Work with all other departments to ensure that colors are being completed and approved on schedule.
- • High School Degree or Higher is Required • Advanced Computer Skills Required • Basic math skills required. This position requires a pre-employment background check, MVR, drug screen, and physical.
