As I have found with other companies that do Angie's List deals, they were a little slow to respond and get going on the job, I assume this is because they get a big increase in business when they run an Angie's list deal. Once we set a date and endured some weather delays, they came out and completed the work of raking up a large amount of pine needles and leaves and hauled away in a single day at the agreed upon price.

Tomas is very professional and did a great job. He was also responsive to my questions and concerns.

I would highly recommend them.

Working with Tomas and his crew at The Landscaper LLC was incredibly easy, and the results are exactly what we wanted. Tomas gave us all the advice we needed, and was very flexible in working with us as our ideas shifted a bit before the work began. The crew was friendly and did great work, and now we are enjoying a beautiful lawn where before there was only weeds and dirt. We will definitely have them back out to do more work in the future.

When Tomas came out to give me an estimate for a complete cleanup of the landscaping of a house that I had just purchased, he was most helpful in helping me decide what items needed immediate attention and what could wait. He really knew the variety of plants in my yard. He and his people removed two trees and sodded where they had been, The general cleanup included pruning and shaping the shrubs and trees, cleaning and weeding the planter beds, and spraying all areas for weeds. As part of the fall cleanup he will also be aerating, fertilizing, raking leaves and blowing out the sprinkler system. He and his people have done an excellent job in a timely and efficient manner. They are extremely professional and courteous. I highly recommend the Landscaper, LLC.

Tomas came out and diagnosed the problems with our sprinklers, fixed them, and had them running again in less than an hour. He was right on time, extremely professional, and gave me great tips on getting my yard back in shape. I will definitely recommend him to my friends, and continue to use him in the future!

In all we talked to 5 companies and received bids from each. Tomas was by far our top pick: his references were outstanding, BBB A+ rating, great Angie reviews, gave a military discount and thanked us for our service, insured, all work was performed by his company and no subcontractors, his knowledge of the job and how/what needed to be done was very precise and his great recommendations put him far above the pack. We are so pleased with his renovation of our back yard. His crew was: always on time, very hard workers, the same people each day (6), really polite and would go over the project of the day with me each day and did their best to make me happy (which I am extremely happy with their work). I could leave and never once felt I needed to stay home and babysit them. Tomas checked with me each day to verify all was going as planned and I was happy with the job. He would stop by to check on things and help out when needed; but his crew was so professional and knowledgeable there really was no need. Tomas does not subcontract out any of the work- so there is only one boss man to coordinate with and he is as honest as it gets. We are looking forward to his return to complete another project in our yard.

We had the pleasure of contracting with Tomas Montoya and his company to help us fix our backyard after the excessive rains had washed away land causing our heat pump to sink into the ground. Tomas provided the material and labor to create proper drainage and added a pathway. Also, we had him put in a paver stone patio addition which is wonderful! We are very impressed with the quality of work Tomas has provided. We've been so pleased with the service we have received, we keep asking him back for other projects. Not only is Tomas Montoya "The Landscaper" the greatest landscaper we have ever had. When we needed snow removal recently, very much, he and his crew were out here in no time with plow etc. and our large driveway and sidewalk were cleared so quickly we could not believe it. This company is amazing!

This work was completed in the summer of 2014. We wanted to give a review that would include our observation of how the project upheld throughout the subsequent 18 months. we initially purchased a yard Spring Clean Up deal from THE LANDSCAPER (Tomas & crew) through Angie’s List and were very happy with the results. Having such attentive service, we requested that THE LANDSCAPER (Tomas) provide a quote on a complete backyard landscaping job. We gave Tomas a general overview of what we desired, which included a total redesign to incorporate xeriscaping and the removal of landscaping railroad ties. We wanted to have a patio by the back fence and fire pit installed. We also wanted drought tolerant shrubs / bushes / plants install. We needed to decrease the grass area, thus adjusting sprinkler coverage. Finally, we had the concrete patio pad beside the house colored to match the new pave stone. Tomas designed a thorough diagram of his vision for significantly remaking our yard. We spent time brainstorming / adjusting based on his ideas and our vision, which highlighted how professional and patient Tomas truly was. As with any large project, oftentimes plans adjust / change based on numerous variables and Tomas was fantastic throughout. The project took a few weeks and as various plants arrived, Tomas and his team quickly installed. Tomas was extremely conscientious, consistently checking in with us to ensure we were satisfied. He honored all guarantees by replacing the few plants that did not take hold. Overall we are incredibly pleased with the outcome and the superb job completed by THE LANDSCAPER. We’ve spent countless hours enjoying our new backyard and have entertained many friends and family members, with all stating that very sentiments we felt…that this space is an absolutely wonderful place to be. Bottom-line, Tomas and his team provided outstanding service with stupendous results! We HIGHLY recommend THE LANDSCAPER.

Tomas is great! I gave him a plan for the landscaping to be done all around my new home and he made it happen just as I requested. I had gotten several estimates and his was very reasonable. Also, he is very personable and easy to work with. He and his crew performed the work as requested and on schedule. I have already booked him to do some additional work for me (add another tree, install some steps, etc.) I highly recommend Tomas (The Landscaper)!

I recently purchased a new home. The entire backyard needed to be re-done. After doing my homework and meeting with 5 different landscapers I chose Tomas, The Landscaper LLC. I met with Tomas who was very professional, prepared and genuine. He provided me with a very well-priced and competitive estimate for the project. Tomas's employees were very professional and hard working. They were on the job site on time every morning and worked non-stop throughout the day. Tomas was on site every day to make sure the project was being completed in a timely fashion and that the project was meeting the needs of my family. The entire backyard was removed and re-done to make it more kid friendly. Tomas was very responsive when I called. The project came out just as designed and my family could not be happier with the results. I would definitely hire The Landscaper again and would highly recommend him.

This was absolutely the best experience and the result far surpassed my expectations. I found Tomas to be honest and very flexible to deal with. I changed some things in the plan half-way through, and there was such flexibility to do so and genuine interest in making me happy. This is being written on August 3rd. All went well and according to our wishes. I have noted that we are getting some weeds/grass growing around some shrubs and edgings. I assume that comes with the territory. Grass and weeds are pernicious! But the rock areas really enhance our lawn presentation. The quality of the small River Rock was so so. It came filled with wet sticky dirt and small pebbles. Wish it had been dry cleaner rock. The large rocks were dry and clean.

Everything went on schedule and estimate was exact.

Tomas is fantastic. Every time I have needed him he has come through. He is usually pretty busy, but have patience and he will get it done. We had a problem where rabbits dug a hole in our retaining wall side, and then up to the top. then when it rained it washed all the dirt down the hole and all over our pea gravel. Tomas came out and plugged up all the holes, got the dirt out of the pea gravel, and then grooved the top of the dirt so it would channel the rain water away from our yard. He does fantastic work.

The work performed and the price were both great. I would definitely use The Landscaper, LLC again.

Tomas and his team were professional during all of the work that took place. They were able to start quickly and cleaned up the work space every afternoon--important since I have two dogs and we spend a lot of time in the yard. Tomas was very accommodating to last minute changes and requests, and was very knowledgeable when addressing questions or concerns. The Landscaper suited our needs perfectly. Not only was the team friendly, they were incredibly efficient. They took our unusable back yard and transformed it into a beautiful outdoor living space. They built an incredible retaining wall that turned our ugly, uneven hill into a beautiful flat lawn with freshly laid sod. They planted trees and bushes for added privacy and shade. They created a xeriscape area for a fire-pit with additional seating. Above all, our favorite part is the gorgeous new patio. They created a natural looking patio that appears to belong in the yard. It's not just a huge rectangular slab. Everything flows together and feels home-y. We couldn't be happier with the results. I'll definitely be calling The Landscaper for any future needs.

This is the second big project we've done with Tomas. He's easy to work with and flexible. It's a very
busy time of year for landscapers and it showed at times with some delays and a little less attention to
detail than the first project he did. Still, Tomas is always willing to make the work right.

Our backyard flagstone patio was crumbling and sinking in areas and needed a facelift. They gutted the entire area and rebuilt it and now it looks beautiful. They laid a sturdy base and edged with block stone for a clean and natural appeal. They then re-installed my original flagstone with polymeric sand and sealed it. The patio has a lower level and they built a step with embedded safety lighting. Tomas was very attentive and we appreciated his ideas along the way. His crew was professional and respectful. I am very happy with my new patio!!

Tomas & his crew were really fantastic! He called quickly (same day), worked within both my time and financial constraints. Short story: called Monday, signed the contract Tuesday, posts went in that same evening, fence rails & pickets were done on Wednesday afternoon! I could not be more pleased!

Tomas called me today and took care of everything today. Our tenants had let the lawn get completely out of control, and Tomas was the only one in town who contacted me, after leaving multiple messages with other companies. He took the time to look at my lawn, then called my immediately and took care of everything promptly. Our grass was at least 16 inches tall, and they had to mow several times, but the price he charged was more than reasonable. I highly recommend Tomas, The Landscaper and plan to continue using his service on a weekly basis. Great customer service, great price, great job. What more could you ask for?

Tomas arrived punctually for our "meet and greet" driving a spit-shined pickup truck wearing clothes that were equally neat as his vehicle. The Landscaper did a complete overhaul on our back yard. It was a huge space with a rather inconvenient hill. The Landscaper's crew did an amazing job. Tomas and his crew were outstanding and the utmost professionals. He came in, took my ideas and provided me a great layout for the side of our hill. As the project progressed, they provided outstanding service and communication. Even after an issue with a neighbor, they completed the project within our timeline. The weather caused some issue by raining several days, but Tomas and his guys were on top of the project and even completed it on a Saturday. I had a lawn irrigation system put into an existing, well-established front and back yard. Thomas did a great job, was timely, and stuck to our budget.
