Justin was pleasant, reliable, and honest. He was prompt and considerate of my home. He even wore shoe covers!!!! Justin did a superb job of walking me through several electrical issues and questions I had about my house. He patiently explained what he saw, and provided multiple options for solutions based on my needs and budget. We called Interstate when we noticed our breaker box smoking while running the dryer. The owner (Justin) answered his phone at 9PM and made a late night house call. Justin installed an antique pendant chandelier replacing a recessed canned light. Part of the challenge was attaching the downrod of a fixture which has not had complementary hardware manufactured in half a century or more. The entire time he was professional and respectful, not just towards me but towards the home in which he was working.

I had an issue with my circuit panel that needed quick attention. Talked to Justin on the phone and explained the issue and he was able to come out the same day and make the repair. I found Justin professional and thorough. Took the time to explain what he was doing and why and was clear about charges. I will use Justin again when the time comes.

Justin made quick work of 2 ceiling fan installations in my new house. In less than two hours, he installed both, explained how to use them, and even managed to squeeze in a discussion about how to take care of my new house and a chat about video games! Woke up the day before yesterday to no hot water. After some preliminary testing, I concluded there was an issue with the circuit feeding a few outlets and the water heater. Given that I could not locate the fault and that the breaker had not tripped, I concluded it was time to call a professional. Based on Yelp reviews, I reached out to Justin late in the evening. He replied the next morning and we set an afternoon appointment. Justin arrived on time and was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. He was able to trace down the root cause of my issue (buried GFCI, thanks builder...) and restored the hot water. I couldn't be happier with Justin's work. Highly recommend him.

After we lost power to our entire condo late on a Sunday night, he was extremely responsive and able to squeeze us in asap. He was extremely knowledgeable and we felt his prices were more reasonable than other quotes we received. We have worked with Justin a few times now and originally found him based on his awesome reviews! We're so grateful we did because words do not put in perspective how great it's been to have someone we trust who also knows the electric throughout our house to come out if we want a new fixture installed, recently it's been more new fixtures that require him wiring a new box etc or our upcoming projects that include solar fans to keep air moving and overall a better temperature throughout the house or an entire electrical overhaul like we needed originally. He's always punctual, always responds quickly, always nice, spends extra time with us making sure we understand electrical lingo, would highly recommend!

I called for service last night and though they could have come out last night, I told them it was not an emergency and some other day was fine. They scheduled my appointment for the next day at 9am which was a relief that they could come out so quickly. Justin did such a great job on a bunch of electrical work that needed to be done and offered us fair pricing. I appreciate that he used quality material and thoroughly explained the work and the process. Also, I've never seen a box where the electrician took the time to print-label the circuits. I've built a brand new home previous and the builder wrote everything with a magic marker that was barely legible. I plan to bring Justin back for some more electrical work that needs to be done around the house. Super polite and super friendly. I also appreciate that he is a veteran.

I needed a few electrical things fixed before I could sell my house. Justin was very responsive, professional and was great with my dog. He did a great job and was very quick. I would recommend Interstate Electric and would use them again if I needed to.

Had a new swamp cooler installed and Justin was the electrician on the crew. He noted there was a 20amp breaker installed in my electrical panel where a 15amp breaker should have been installed. He told me about it, swapped it out with a brand new 15 amp, and gave me back the replaced breaker. Job was done perfectly, quickly and professionally. It was a last minute panic looking for an electrician for my bathroom light fixtures. It was 9am on a Saturday when I called and Justin came to my house few hours later at 12. He was very professional. He rewired one electrical box into two for my 2 light fixtures and installed a can LED light above the bathtub. He did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him.

Justin arrived within 60 minutes when I called after finding a live-wire in the yard. After looking over the electric system in the older home that I had just purchased he said it was in terrible shape. I have a pool, hot tub and hot water solar system so it's a pretty extensive system with 3 panels. Justin and Brook worked non-stop for days until my electric panels were running again and all my questions were answered. I will be using them for everything in my home plus my parent's and children's too.

Justin installed a whole home surge protector and an AFCI. Showed us, as homeowners, what should or shouldn't be done with the electricity that we use, what we should replace and when, etc. Very professional, super polite, knew what he was doing and, all in all, one of the good guys! Justin replaced a new fuse box which was a huge undertaking. He also brought the house up to code on smoke alarms. He installed a dining room light and did an excellent job on everything. I would not hesitate to call him for any electrical project.

We recently bought a house in Denver that was a flip and were having issues with the kitchen breaker getting thrown once a week or so. When we contacted the original electrician that had done all the work when the house was redone he was less then helpful leaving us questioning whether what he was telling us was true. Justin came out and for a very reasonable $120 fee spent several hours checking, testing and educating my daughter and I on her house, the electrical system and even giving us some advice on ways to cool the house down. He was professional and so knowledgeable he even taught me (I'm a midlife I know everything renaissance type woman) a few new things about appliances and electricity. He gave my daughter some great techniques to figure out which appliance was the problem and what to do when the power goes out due to a small appliance. At the end of his appointment he reassured us that everything was done correctly and actually done very well and there was nothing for him to fix. Considering the age of the house (1895) and that we bought it from a flipper we were both so relieved to hear the good news and to have a schooling on electricity by someone so obviously enthusiastic and knowledgeable on the subject. If we had an electrical project we would definitely bring Interstate Electric and Solar and Justin back to take care of it. Thanks, Justin!

We were getting an estimate for electrical issues on a house we have not even closed on yet, and he was on top of it eager to help!
