  • Teresa from Al’s Appliances helped me with a problem I was having with my dryer. She could have easily sent someone out to fix the problem, but she took the trouble to ask me the make and model, and to troubleshoot the issue by having me check a part of the machine, which I did, and which then solved the problem. It was a minor that would have cost me a service fee. Her honesty and friendly attitude have made it so that the next appliance issue. To me it’s honesty and customer service that make a business stand out above the rest. So it’s on that basis that I recommend Al’s Appliances.

  • I have been a customer of Al's Appliance for many years now. I find them to be extraordinarily courteous, helpful, and generous with their time. I recently had a problem with my air-conditioner and phoned to place an urgent service call. Teresa was very kind and asked me to check out a few things and we discovered that it was actually the battery in my thermostat. That extra step she took saved me the the cost of having someone come to my home. In today's day and age, you just don't have companies take that extra step and assist customers when it is not in their best interest. I highly recommend them and can't say enough good things!

  • Fast, on time, and great service. My wedding was coming up and we were planning to prepare the rehearsal dinner. One problem our oven failed after running the self-clean function. We called GE repair service and they were not able to come out until the Wednesday after the wedding. We called Al’s Appliance and they were able to come out that morning. Nathan found that the self-cleaning locking switch was defective. They searched for a replacement part but one could not be located and the part was backordered to the factory. Nathan had some parts at his home and was able to come up with the exact part needed and was able to fix the oven the same day. This saved us a lot of running around and sharing kitchens. They really went the extra mile to help us in a critical situation. Thank you!! Pros: Going the extra mile, fast, courteous and on time.

  • I called Al's two weeks ago on a Saturday and they were able to send a technician out that afternoon. I had been having problems with the freezer on my refrigerator for several months and now the ice maker had completely stopped working and the freezer was barely freezing. Nate found the problem. Everything now is working great and he saved me having to purchase a new refrigerator. Only cost me $65.00. Thank You Al's Appliance and specifically Thank You Nate.

  • My Whirlpool refrigerator started getting ice build up in the freezer compartment and a hideous, loud, vibrating noise that could be heard throughout my house. In addition the fridge just wasn't cooling to the proper temperature. I called Al's first thing the next morning and Joe was at my house by noon. The condenser fan assembly (noise/bad temp control) and defrost thermostat (ice build up) needed to be replaced. Joe had me up and running in about 40 minutes. Way cheaper than buying a new fridge, cost me just under $250. Great service, fair price, and I would call them again. Hopefully I won't need to! Also, Joe's jokes suck...keep your day job Joe! Ha! Pros:Fast, professional service. Cons:I had to pay for it.

  • Just prior to our annually July 4th party our 15 year-old Monogram decides to have a problem - not cool, literally. I placed calls to various appliance repair companies & listening to their responses felt most comfortable with Al's Appliance. Some of the companies I called were telling me what needing fixing before they even saw the fridge. One of them even told me if I paid cash they would reduce the original trip charge in half & that most repairs are around $200 - interesting. Al's Appliance is listed on both of this websites in good standing for good reason. Not only did Al (himself) come out prior to the 4th holiday when others only gave me the after the holiday option but he was on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. 45 minutes later we had a refrigerator/freezer that worked & weren't charged an arm & a leg to do so. Pros:On Time, Courteous & Friendly, Fairly priced Cons:Sorry I don't have one.

  • Nathan,the repairman,was outstanding!.Before he even came to our house to fix our Jenn-Air stove and Amana Refrigerator,he asked,through Teresa,detailed questions regarding the specific problem(s),serial number of unit,Model number,etc.That way he could pre-order and bring the parts with him...ON THE FIRST SERVICE CALL!As it ended up,he only needed to make some adjustments on both appliances and did not need the parts(and NO CHARGE OR RE-STOCKING FEE ON THE PARTS!)....both units are working perfectly and only labor charge of $168(45 minute drive each way from Arvada to Evergreen plus one hour labor).I highly recommend this high-integrity,customer-focused company.

  • Our oven was having problems heating up. I called Saturday morning to see if I could get an appointment for someone to come out and look at the range. By noon I had a repairman here. As it happens it costs too much to fix, but the repairman was exceptional. Explained things, was so very friendly. I felt very comfortable in the advice he gave and the help he was to us. Very prompt good service. We will definitely use this company again.

  • My husband and I had a great experience working with Al's Appliance. Our refrigerator went out late on a Tuesday night and Al's Appliance was able to send someone out the very next day to take a look. The technician was extremely friendly and went above and beyond.
    The part that we needed was able to be installed the next day and we were up and running far faster than I ever could have expected. I would recommend Al's Appliance to any friend or family member that needed a repair done to any appliance. We will also make Al's our first call if we ever need anything else serviced in our house.

  • SERVICE CALL WAS ON TIME AND COURTEOUS. NO "BS" ABOUT WHAT WAS WRONG AND POSSIBLE REASONS FOR FAILURE OF THE PART. OTHER MORE EXPENSIVE COMPONENTS OF THE APPLIANCE WERE INSPECTED AND SAID TO BE OK. REPAIR PART WAS AVAILABLE ON THE TRUCK AND THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED PROMPTLY. WITHOUT ANY GOOD BASIS FOR COMPARISON , I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT THE COST SEEMED TO BE IN THE RANGE THAT I EXPECTED. I WOULD USE THIS FIRM AGAIN.

  • Yesterday our fridge stopped working. By the time I noticed it was almost 5pm. I was in a panic when I called. The person answering the phone was very helpful and found a tech to come over in less than an hour. When Nate arrived he was very professional and quickly diagnosed our problem. He gave us a temporary solution to make it through the night. He then returned this afternoon with the part for repair. It was a nice surprise to not have to pay an emergency trip charge or for that matter a trip charge at all! Nate was very helpful and explained exactly what was wrong to my husband. It is so nice to have people that wont take advantage of you in an "emergency" situation. I am sure that you saved us a ton of money as all the food survived and we were not taken advantage of in our time of need!
